Eligibility for Diploma in Cosmetology :

Passed 10+2 examination with at least 40% marks in aggregate.

Eligibility for B.A. with Cosmetology :

Senior Secondary Certificate Part-II (12th Class) examination of the Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognised by this University.

Course Contents :

The curriculum of Cosmetology includes Foundations of Cosmetology; Hair Care and Styling; Skin Care and Aesthetics: Understanding skin types, facial treatments, skincare products, and makeup application; Anatomy and Physiology: Basic understanding of the human body, especially as it relates to hair, skin, and nail health; Nail Technology: Nail anatomy, manicure and pedicure procedures, artificial nail applications, and nail art; Chemistry for Cosmetologists: Basics of chemistry related to hair coloring, product formulations, and chemical processes; Salon Management: Business aspects of running a salon, including client communication, appointment scheduling, and retail sales; Sanitation and Safety: Importance of maintaining a clean and safe salon environment, including hygiene, sterilization, and infection control; Client Consultation and Communication: Developing effective communication skills for consultations, client needs assessment, and managing client expectations.
