Hindu College, one of the oldest historic colleges in the holy city of Amritsar, accredited A grade by NAAC in the last cycle, celebrated India’s 76th Republic Day with fervour and unbridled enthusiasm. The NCC cadets of the college marched in a parade lending the occasion a touch of grace and discipline. Sh Pardeep Mehra, Chairman of the college, congratulated the students on this occasion, wishing them all on this momentous day commemorating India’s Republic Day. Sh Ravi Kant, Finance Secretary of the college, exhorted the students to lead exemplary lives which would make their college, parents and society proud. The teachers had organised a quiz competition with questions centred around India’s independence and constitution. Some students had prepared solo and group patriotic songs and the attending students joined in creating a patriotic environment in the campus. At the end, all the stakeholders wished the students a Happy Republic Day.
