Today, on the birth anniversary of Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, the members of the management, Principal, staff, and students paid heartfelt homage to one of India’s most respected leaders — a legendary economist, a man of wisdom, and a symbol of humility and integrity.
Dr. Manmohan Singh ji was the first member of the Hindu College Alumni Association and studied at Hindu College from 1950 to 1953. He later rose to become the architect of India’s economic reforms and served the nation as the Prime Minister of India, leading with great dignity and calm determination.
He visited the college in 2017 as the Chief Guest at the Convocation Ceremony — an event of immense pride for the Hindu College community.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rakesh Sharma Ji paid homage and fondly remembered Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, expressing deep respect for his immense contributions to the nation. The faculty members also offered their heartfelt tributes to Dr. Manmohan Singh ji.
